The tab defines the diffuse component of the core (RTCD) of the material.
Weight
A parameter that specifies the weight of the diffuse component.
Front
Sets the reflectivity of the front surface. Important: in this component, the frontal side is considered as the side from which the beam came. It may not coincide with the direction of the normals.
Translucency
Determines the proportion of energy that will pass through the component.
Back
Sets the intensity of the side opposite the front. In order for the beam energy to escape from this side, the Translucency parameter must not be zero.
Thin
The option enables a special mode when the material is considered infinitely thin.
Bump
Bump mapping settings for the entire RTCD core, not just the diffuse component.
- Height: Height of irregularities along the normal to the surface.
- Nrm: The texture map is treated as a normal map, not a height map.
Roughness
Specifies the roughness of the geometry: model and value. Diffuse models of Lambert, Oren-Nayar, Disney, Hammon are supported. The roughness value can be changed depending on the wavelength. Value 0 - smooth Lambert model, 1 - completely rough.
